Does Live replace a legal electronic voting tool?
No. It is designed for in-session votes, the kind usually done by show of hands. It does not handle attendance sheets, proxies or weighted votes: for a statutory vote that requires them, use a dedicated tool.
Can remote members vote?
Yes. Send them the joining link or the 8-digit code: they vote at the same time as the room, and their answers are added to the results on screen.
Our volunteers are not comfortable with digital tools. Is it simple?
Yes. They scan the QR code or enter an 8-digit code on their phone, with no app or account. A one-minute demonstration at the start of the session is enough.
Can votes be anonymous?
Yes. In anonymous mode, each participant gets an automatically generated pseudonym, which avoids duplicates. Someone connected on two devices could still vote twice.
