Short answers work best in a cloud. Ask for one word or a brief phrase. Different words may represent the same idea, and an isolated term does not explain its own context.

For example: “What word best describes our customer onboarding today?” Ask someone to illustrate a term with a real situation. The cloud starts the conversation; it is not a complete analysis.

How to use it in a session

  1. Write a focused question

    Connect the question to a purpose and read it from a participant’s perspective. Make sure its terms can be understood without an extra explanation.

  2. Invite people to respond
