Evalandgo Live

Live brainstorming

The Evalandgo Live Brainstorming question collects ideas from the whole group live. Everyone suggests as many ideas as they like from their phone, ideas appear as sticky notes, and identical ideas are grouped with a counter.

Bring out ideas from the whole group

Ask a question that calls for ideas, such as “How can we reach new customers?”, and let the group suggest. Each participant sends as many ideas as they like from their phone. Ideas appear as they arrive, as sticky notes on the shared screen.

Several people suggest the same idea? It appears once, with a counter, so you instantly see what comes up most. You set the maximum length of ideas yourself, to keep suggestions short and readable.

Follow up with a poll so the group can vote on the ideas worth exploring.

How to use it in a session

  1. Ask a question that calls for ideas

Target a specific problem rather than a general request. “Which obstacle should we remove in a new hire’s first week?” produces ideas that are easier to use than “Any ideas?”.

  2. Let the ideas come in

Announce how long people have and allow individual thinking time. Sticky notes appear live, and identical ideas are grouped with their counter.

  3. Debate, then vote

Ask for clarification on ambiguous ideas, group themes out loud, then launch a poll to choose which ideas to pursue.

Frequently asked questions

How many ideas can a participant suggest?

As many as they like. Each idea appears as a sticky note as soon as it is sent, and an idea suggested by several participants appears once, with the number of people who suggested it.

What is the difference between Brainstorming and a word cloud?

A word cloud brings out keywords and frequent themes. Brainstorming collects real proposals, written as sentences, which the group then discusses before choosing between them with a vote.

Can people suggest ideas anonymously?

Yes, if you choose this when launching the session. Anonymity helps people suggest a bold idea or point out a problem without worrying about what others think.

Is Brainstorming included in the free plan?

No, the Brainstorming question is part of the paid Evalandgo Live plans. You can try it during the 14-day trial, which you start directly from the application.

Can I run a brainstorm remotely?

Yes. Share your screen in your video call and send the joining link or the 8-digit code. Ideas from remote participants appear alongside those from the room.
